J. David Mason – Chief Executive Officer, Director – B.A.Sc. M.Eng
Mr. Mason graduated with a B. A. Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1967 (Engineering & Economic Geology), and from McGill University in 1969 with a M. Eng. (Mining), specialized in management sciences and mineral economics. His Work experience in the mineral business included positions with Noranda Mines and Rio Algom as well as being a policy analyst for the Ontario Government. Mr. Mason spent twenty-five years in the investment business of which ten years was as a Mining Analyst (Wood Gundy & Walwyn Inc.), approximately eleven years as an IDA Member Firm branch manager and an adviser to individual retail investors.
Manish Z. Kshatriya – Chief Financial Officer – CA, CPA (CO)
Mr. Kshatriya has over 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, taxation and auditing obtained in public accounting practice and industry. He has a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree with Honors in Accounting and Finance from York University. Mr. Kshatriya is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States and a member of the Colorado State Board of Accountancy.
Gordon D. McRoberts
Gordon McRoberts is an exploration geologist with over fifteen years of experience in gold and base metal mineral exploration in Ontario, Quebec, B.C., Nunavut and Mexico. In addition, Gordon worked for several years with the Ontario Geological Survey. Throughout 2008 and parts of 2009, Gordon has been involved with Augen Gold on their evaluation of the South Swayze Project, which includes the Jerome gold mine.
Gordon has a B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University (1980), a M.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University (1986), and is a Registered Professional Geoscientist with the APGO in Ontario.
Frank C. Racicot
Frank Racicot is an exploration geologist with over 30 years of experience in gold and base metal mineral exploration in Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba. Throughout 2008, Frank worked with Augen Gold on their evaluation of the South Swayze Project, including the Jerome gold mine, and returned in December 2009 to further assist Augen Gold in their exploration efforts, as the project again gathered momentum.
Frank has spent many years, including much of the 2009 field season in other parts of the Swayze Greenstone Belt and therefore lends Augen Gold a seasoned perspective. In addition, as a long-time resident of nearby Sudbury, Frank's logistical support is invaluable.
Frank has a B.Sc. from Laurentian University (1974) and is a member in good standing with the APGO in Ontario.
James Sbrolla – Director, Chairman Augen Gold Corp.
Mr. Sbrolla is a veteran of both the financial and environmental industries. He is Chairman of Environmental Business Consultants, the manager of a small private equity fund and serves on the boards of WE Communications, Actual Media and Green Students Fundraising. Mr. Sbrolla is also a widely-published journalist in business media, Mr. Sbrolla has written on a variety of topics including a multi-national study on finance, the environment and sustainable development.
Tim Peterson – Director, Self Employed
From 2003 to 2007 Mr. Peterson served as a Member of the Provincial Parliament of Ontario from Mississauga South. Mr. Peterson has had extensive experience in Northern Ontario with the mining industry as President and then Chairman of Nordex Explosives Ltd, a TSX listed company that manufactures explosives for the mining and road building industries.
Lorne Woods – Director, Vice President Investor Relations, Blue Note Mining
Mr. Woods has 20 years of experience owning and operating private companies; 10 years experience consulting with public companies; and 10 years experience consulting with Canadian capital market
