Corporate Profile
Trelawney is a well-financed Canadian resource company based in Toronto, Ontario. The Company's main focus is the exploration and development of the Côté Lake Gold Deposit in the Swayze Greenstone Belt, located halfway between Timmins and Sudbury, 20 km southwest of Gogama, Ontario. The deposit currently hosts an NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate of 131 million tonnes at a grade of 1.0 g/t Au containing 4.22 million ounces of gold. An updated resource estimate for the Côté Lake Deposit is anticipated for the first quarter of 2012.
Following the successful takeover of Augen Gold Corp. in 2011, Trelawney now controls a 55-km strike-length of the Swayze Greenstone Belt in Northern Ontario. The Swayze Belt is thought to be the southwestern extension of the prolific gold-producing Abitibi Greenstone Belt, with the Ridout deformation zone interpreted as the extension of the Cadillac Larder Lake Fault zone.
